Maison des Jonglages / Le Prisme
Le projet a pris corps dans un triptyque, dont L’Après-midi d’un foehn 1, présenté par la Maison des Jonglages, a été le premier volet. Sur un mode performatif, la circassienne a réinventé le principe même de son art, déjouant la gravité pour mieux faire s’envoler les objets. Ceux-là, au lieu de retomber dans la main d’un jongleur, sont emportés dans un tourbillon mis en œuvre par une turbine. Une forme de ballet aérien, puisque les objets en question ne sont autres que des sacs en plastique, comme une multitude de marionnettes évoluant au rythme de la caresse de l’air. La recherche autour de ces « pièces du vent » s’est matérialisée ensuite dans une seconde version de L’Après-midi d’un foehn, puis dans une pièce pour adultes, Vortex. Avec ce travail très singulier autour de « l’Injonglabilité Complémentaire des Eléments », Phia Ménard est une des artistes les plus inventives de sa génération. C’est ce que pourront expérimenter les professionnels ou amateurs confirmés à La Courneuve, au cours d’un stage qu’elle donnera du 28 au 30 novembre.
