PIANO / BOUFFES DU NORD
Le 12e Concours international de piano d’Orléans se tient du 18 au 28 février. Cette année encore, une quarantaine de jeunes pianistes de toutes nationalités s’affronteront avec pour terrain de jeu le répertoire composé pour leur instrument aux 20e et 21e siècles. Les lauréats viendront rejoindre la liste des pianistes, souvent doués d’une forte personnalité, qui se sont illustrés à Orléans depuis plus de vingt ans, parmi lesquels Winston Choï et Toros Can, qui se produiront en récital à la Salle de l’Institut où se déroule la compétition. On retrouvera également les lauréats de cette édition 2016 le 14 mars à Paris pour un concert de prestige aux Bouffes du Nord. Le Premier Prix interprétera avec l’ensemble Court-Circuit dirigé par Jean Deroyer le très exigeant Concerto op. 24 de Webern et le lauréat du Prix Sacem jouera Le Carillon d’Orléans, pièce composée pour le concours par Philippe Hersant. Le reste du programme sera choisi par les lauréats dans un répertoire allant de Fauré à nos jours. Avant le concert du soir, les Bouffes du Nord accueilleront à 15h les lauréats du concours « Brin d’herbe » destiné aux pianistes de 8 à 18 ans. Eux aussi auront droit à une œuvre nouvelle, Pianopolis de Michel Decoust, toujours avec l’ensemble Court-Circuit.
