VITRY-SUR-SEINE / JAZZ & WORLD MUSIC
On n’a pas toujours vingt ans. C’est l’âge de raison de ce collectif, piloté par le trompettiste belge Laurent Blondiau, qui s’est fixé pour objectif d’investir tous les champs d’expérimentation. Depuis l’aventure a ainsi pris de multiples formes et formats, emprunté de nombreux chemins, de l’Afrique de l’Ouest aux modes électro. Pour ce concert anniversaire, le leader réunit huit percussionnistes-danseurs du Bénin et six soufflants, afin d’évoquer Abomey, capitale des rois et sanctuaire du vodun. Telle sera la trame acoustique de ce concert placé sous l’aura Kojo, « une interaction fascinante entre le jazz et la transe vaudou du Bénin ». En clair un projet ouvert d’esprit. Pour preuves, le concert sera précédé par le Grand Bazar (entre 14h et 16h, Laurent Blondiau et les siens convient tout un chacun à musiquer, chanter, danser) et il sera suivi par un grand repas où chacun peut participer librement.
