« Ce que je trouve merveilleux, c’est de changer de partenaires et de confronter ses idées avec différents musiciens » confie Laurent Wagschal. Accompagné par l’Ensemble K 440, placé sous la direction de Samuel Étienne, c’est dans un esprit « chambriste » que Wagschal devrait se faire le soliste du Premier Concerto de Chopin. Il faut en effet s’attendre avec Laurent Wagschal, artiste intérieur et raffiné, à une passionnante vision pudique de l’œuvre, révélant un Chopin secret aux antipodes des excès d’emphase qu’appelle parfois sa musique chez des interprètes trop préoccupés de briller à tout prix. Le pianiste français sera à suivre également prochainement dans un nouveau projet, encore en préparation avec le comédien Alain Carré : « Il s’agira d’un concert mêlant musique et textes autour du thème de la nuit où l’on pourra notamment entendre Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, Debussy, Ravel, Poulenc, Bartok accompagnés de Baudelaire, Verlaine, Prévert, Michaux, Hölderlin, Rilke… » explique Laurent Wagschal.
