Ce pourrait être un homme ordinaire dans son salon. A ceci près que cet homme utilise son mobilier pour évoluer dans un univers complètement décalé, jouant de l’objet dans des partitions subtilement écrites. Une table basse, et c’est tout un monde qui s’ouvre à lui, fait d’encastrements, d’escalades, d’emboîtements, quand le corps se confond avec le volume de l’objet pour mieux brouiller les contours de chacun. Il parvient à donner subtilement vie à des bouts de corps et des morceaux de bois, virtuose dans ses acrobaties et ses contorsions comme dans sa présence, habité par un rythme profond et tout en tension.
Les lois de la pesanteur bouleversées
L’arrivée d’une armoire dans ce système millimétré va faire basculer le spectacle de l’étrange et drôle vers l’inquiétant. On devine que ce personnage, incarné par Claudio Stellato, n’est en fait que le jouet d’un environnement agissant de plus en plus à son encontre. Les meubles bougent d’eux-mêmes, le tapis se rebelle, la lumière révèle des zones d’ombre. A croire que l’espace est habité par un autre ; à moins que cette pièce soit le reflet de l’inconscient du circassien, où coexistent le sens et le non-sens. Un faux solo radical, minimaliste, écrit et interprété de main de maître.
