L’ouverture, avec l’Orchestre national d’Auvergne sous la direction du violoniste Thomas Zehetmair où Mozart et Bach côtoient Brahms et Xenakis, est une sorte de condensé d’un éclectisme qui investit les bords de la Vézère, et dont l’épicentre naturel reste le Château du Saillant. Le 7 juillet, les frères Fouchenneret, Pierre et Théo, proposent une journée autour de Chagall. Les 4 et 5 août, la Grange se fait scène d’opéra avec Rigoletto de Verdi et L’Elisir d’amore de Donizetti par la compagnie Diva Opera, fidèle du festival. Le 9, Nelson Goerner y donne un récital. Pour la clôture le 12, Paul Lay et son trio réinventent Bach avec les accents du jazz. Le 29 juillet, l’ensemble La Chimera embarque, en l’abbatiale d’Aubazine, vers un dépaysement en Amérique latine, tandis que le 25 le jeune accordéoniste Théo Ould revisite le répertoire à Objat. Les affinités littéraires ne sont pas oubliées le 11 à Brive avec François Busnel et Claire-Marie Le Guay, et le 19 dans les jardins de Colette à Varetz autour de Misia Sert avec Julie Depardieu.
