Un bigraphe, c’est la rencontre de deux formes, la mise en tension de deux mondes qui donne naissance à un objet nouveau, autonome, complexe et stimulant. Complices sur scène dans les productions de Samuel Achache et Jeanne Candel (dont Orfeo, je suis mort en Arcadie et L’Oreille de Denys), Anne-Emmanuelle Davy et Thibault Perriard ont conçu cet inimaginable récital en formes d’expériences sonores et théâtrales.
Voix et percussions
« Nous sommes partis du son, expliquent-ils d’un même élan. Qu’est-ce qu’il peut y avoir de commun à une soprano lyrique et un batteur de jazz ? Peut-être tout simplement le rapport à l’instrument ». De sons infimes en bruyants éclats, les caractères de l’un et de l’autre se rapprochent jusqu’à se confondre, troubler les identités : la percussion chante, résonne, la voix se fait percussive. Sur scène, la batterie devient tantôt décor, tantôt personnage, sans jamais rien céder de la primauté de la musique. Celle-ci puise à toutes les sources, aux répertoires des deux interprètes : Purcell, le chant grégorien, autant que le jazz ou les musiques traditionnelles, font naître des situations scéniques belles, absurdes, inattendues, sculptées par les lumières de César Godefroy.
