Faire rire ou émouvoir d’une idée ou d’un geste, surprendre et épater en un clin d’œil, convaincre le public et emporter son adhésion d’un claquement de doigts, en un seul numéro et en prenant tous les risques : telle est la gageure du music-hall qui réunit des artistes différents en une revue qui a le seul plaisir de la découverte pour guide ! Celle du Cabaret de l’étrange rassemble Les Mangeurs de lapin (Sigrid La Chapelle et Pierre Soubestre), couple burlesque, décalé et poétique, adepte de la mystification, du déguisement farfelu et du fou rire, Fred Razon, magicien pétillant de fantaisie, Yukki Yoyo, champion du monde de yoyo et maître ès diabolo, Bertox, magicien jongleur faisant virevolter balles et chapeaux, Mariangeles, danseuse originale mélangeant foulards, cerceaux et danse orientale et Domdom, mime-jongleur virtuose de la raquette ! Artistes du geste sûr et du bon mot, les étranges zigotos qui créent ensemble ce spectacle ont un talent assuré dont leurs prouesses individuelles attestent, mais aussi un sens de la performance collective à l’ancienne qui fleure bon le cabaret d’antan et ses merveilles surprenantes et inattendues, sensationnelles et hilarantes.
