Théâtre de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines / Chorégraphie Olivia Grandville
Du cabaret, la chorégraphe a gardé une drôlerie, une forme d’adresse directe et de rapport au public qu’elle éclate volontiers dans l’espace du théâtre. Pour le côté « discrépant »… on s’en réfèrera à la racine latine, qui évoque une simultanéité d’éléments avec effets de discordance. C’est ce qui apparaît dans la composition de sa pièce, mais aussi dans la référence qui guide tout le spectacle : celle d’Isidore Isou, fondateur du mouvement avant-gardiste du lettrisme, dont les textes, notamment autour de la danse, résonnent ici d’une façon toute particulière. Sous la forme d’actes performatifs doublés d’une vraie-fausse conférence, la chorégraphe et ses acteurs-danseurs revisitent l’Histoire de la danse à travers des textes écrits il y a plus de cinquante ans, comme Le Manifeste de la danse ciselante d’Isidore Isou, ou Partition de la danseuse de Maurice Lemaître.
