Le Carrousel des Moutons
Cirque / Villeneuve en scène / conception Dirk Van Boxelaere et Fien Van Herwegen
La compagnie s’appelle D’Irque et Fien, reprenant à peu de choses près les prénoms des deux artistes formant le tandem, Dirk Van Boxelaere et Fien Herwegen. Dirk s’est fait connaître par son humour et la complicité de Matt Ledding, avec qui il fait le tour du monde dans leur spectacle ToBe2. Mais avec Fien, pianiste, il explore encore une autre facette de son art, plus poétique, sans pour autant laisser de côté la légèreté qui le caractérise. Le Carrousel des Moutons propose une alliance entre le jonglage, l’acrobatie, la musique et la magie. Au cœur du duo, le piano, qui devient à lui seul le troisième partenaire, défie les lois de la gravité sous nos yeux écarquillés. Il en faut peu pour que Dirk et Fien s’amusent de cette situation et provoquent la surprise et la cocasserie. Sans oublier une part de rêve qui tournoie comme un manège et s’envole avec eux.
