Reprise / D'après l'opéra de Henry Purcell / Mes Samuel Achache et Jeanne Candel
C’était hier et si loin déjà. En 2013, déboulait sur nos scènes un OTNI (Objet Théâtral Non Identifié) qui a fait date. Adapté de l’opéra d’Henry Purcell racontant la mythologique trahison amoureuse de Didon par Enée, Le Crocodile trompeur mêlait musiciens et comédiens au plateau, anglais et français, humour absurde et beauté lyrique dans un spectacle irrésistible. On y voyait une troupe de farfelus plonger dans le corps de Didon pour toucher du doigt sa souffrance, un chef d’orchestre chancelant chaussures de ski aux pieds, une scénographie baroque donner le tempo via une goutte d’eau. Un spectacle où une idée nouvelle fusait toutes les trois secondes et qui avait propulsé bien des spectateurs et critiques, dont j’étais, dans un véritable état de ravissement.

Depuis, le collectif la vie brève à l’origine de ce spectacle a poursuivi sa route et dirige maintenant le Théâtre de l’Aquarium. C’est donc un collector qu’ils permettent de redécouvrir via ce festival BRUIT, qui n’aura pris de ride que celle de ses comédiens. La formidable Judith Chemla a été remplacée par la non moins excellente Anne-Emmanuelle Davy.
