Le Nouveau Ring / de Tchekhov / mes Mélanie Pichot et Emmanuel Ray
C’est le besoin d’explorer le chemin parcouru qui a guidé Emmanuel Ray et Mélanie Pichot, le besoin d’éclairer en une succession de séquences les itinéraires contrastés de diverses figures de comédiens, unis par la relation à la scène qui les structure. Entre moments de gloire et rêves avortés, entre la force du désir et la peur du néant, sur un fil, au bord du rire. La mise en scène fait écho à la lucidité implacable et à la tendresse infinie de l’auteur médecin en nuançant de mille façons la condition de l’acteur et ses tumultes. Le spectacle s’organise autour de trois personnages, interprétés par Emmanuel Ray, Fabien Moiny et Mélanie Pichot : un vieil acteur, un souffleur qui rêve de se lancer sur la scène, et une jeune actrice. La scénographie limpide, l’utilisation subtile des costumes, les contrastes entre lumière et obscurité laissent libre cours à la puissance fragile du jeu théâtral. Comme le confie Emmanuel Ray : le théâtre, c’est l’espace « où on se doit de tout pouvoir faire, où tous les rêves sont possibles »…
