Le Dernier Voyage de Sindbad
Théâtre 13 Seine / de Erri de Luca / mes Thomas Bellorini
En 1997, un bateau albanais transportant des réfugiés est coulé par un navire de guerre italien. 80 des passagers du « Katër i Radës » périssent. Cinq ans après, l’écrivain Erri de Luca écrit Le Dernier Voyage de Sindbad : « un concentré de marins et d’histoires, depuis celle de Jonas, prophète avalé vivant par la baleine, à celles des émigrés italiens du XXe siècle avalés vivants par les Amériques. Ici, Sindbad en est à son dernier voyage. Il transporte des passagers de la malchance vers nos côtes fermées par des barbelés. » Son texte poétique et vibrant, écrit sous forme chorale, éblouit Thomas Bellorini. Le metteur en scène, artiste en résidence au 104, l’associe à des vers d’Aller simple, un recueil de poésie de de Luca sur les migrants, « pour créer un climat sonore de langues en s’appuyant sur les différentes origines des comédiens de son équipe ». Décor épuré, musiques d’Orient et d’Occident scandent ce spectacle musical qui fait résonner l’universalité et l’humanité d’un de nos plus grands auteurs contemporains.
