TRIANON / VERSION DE CONCERT
Le Financier et le Savetier ? Une opérette bouffe, forte, serrée, en un acte, dont la gaudriole effrontée n’a rien à envier aux œuvres plus fameuses du même Offenbach. On y retrouve en effet bon nombre des mérites salués chez ses aînées – que ce soit Orphée aux enfers ou La Périchole –, ici aménagés sous la forme d’un package miniature. À contre-pied de la fable de La Fontaine dont elle tire son nom, l’opérette prend le parti de l’immoralité en appelant au triomphe de l’argent et du hasard sur le libre arbitre. Respectueux de la tradition des concerts populaires dont Jules Pasdeloup fut l’un des initiateurs, les Concerts Pasdeloup parient une fois de plus sur l’épicurisme du père de la Vie Parisienne… Ajoutons en préliminaires quelques airs et ensembles célèbres tirés d’opéras parents, et c’est gagné d’avance ! Avec Aurélie Fargues (soprano) Xavier Mauconduit (ténor), Frank T’hézan (ténor) et Maxime Cohen (baryton).
