Depuis son bled en Algérie jusqu’au XVIIIe arrondissement de Paris, depuis sa mère Yéma qui répond par des claques à ses questions qui dérangent jusqu’à sa copine Janine du planning familial qui lui sert de guide, depuis la peau de mouton fertilisante de sa belle-mère jusqu’ à l’apprentissage de la jouissance, Faïza Fatou propose un portrait nuancé, bigarré et savoureux de la sexualité féminine, nourri des deux cultures maghrébine et occidentale. Un frichti aux multiples ingrédients, personnels et intimes souvent, nés d’une observation fine de son environnement. Issue d’une famille recomposée, l’auteure et comédienne a vécu avec son père musulman auprès d’une mère algérienne qui passe sa vie aux fourneaux, puis auprès d’une mère française célibataire qui passe sa vie à travailler. S’appuyant sur la double dynamique du conte et de la conférence, le personnage de Fatou raconte sa vie de l’enfance à l’âge adulte, au son d’une musique d’Agnès Duvivier (contrebasse et violoncelle) qui met en lumière ses conflits intérieurs et ses doutes. Le metteur en scène Jean-François Toulouse de la compagnie Tombés du ciel s’empare de ce texte sensible et décapant, lauréat 2007 du Centre National du Théâtre.
