Le Grand C comme Collectif, Combat, Climax… C’est un spectacle à étages, ou la pyramide humaine est un mode d’être au monde comme un autre ! Ça saute, ça grimpe, ça plie, ça tend, toujours plus haut, toujours plus nombreux, dans l’effort comme dans la fluidité, dans la suspension comme dans la chute. Et c’est une étonnante poésie qui naît de cet étrange ballet, porté par une gentille musique un brin nostalgique. Le spectateur, emporté dans cette magie visuelle qui prend le temps de s’installer depuis la préparation physique et la concentration des circassiens, ne renie pas son plaisir malgré le torticolis qui le guette. Puis c’est la femme canon qui jaillit et explore les limites du danger. Ici d’ailleurs, la femme porte l’homme et inverse le rapport habituel entre acrobates. Les fronts ruissellent, les dos craquent… Le Grand C se place à la fois sur le plan de la virtuosité et dans la force d’un propos qui veut qu’à plusieurs, on bâtit mieux.
