Toujours attentif à démontrer les bienfaits de l’échange, de l’ouverture, et de nouveaux plaisirs esthétiques, le Studio-Théâtre de Stains dirigé par Marjorie Nakache s’empare d’un conte philosophique et universel écrit par Jean-Claude Carrière. Au cœur de cette cité où plus de soixante nationalités se côtoient, la pièce invite à une exploration originale de notre histoire et du thème de la vérité. On y retrouve quelques-uns des contes du monde entier que l’auteur a glanés au cours de ses voyages. Un jeune prince désire épouser la fille d’un paysan, celui-ci refuse, estimant que le jeune homme ne connaît pas la vérité. Ce dernier parcourt donc le monde en quête de cette fameuse vérité. « Il faut toujours suivre ceux qui cherchent la vérité. Et toujours fuir ceux qui l’ont trouvée. » lui conseille le vieil homme. Un voyage initiatique vers la sagesse ponctué de séquences musicales et dansées, interprété par cinq comédiens, en intégrant la marionnette à la dramaturgie. Pour découvrir la vérité à petits pas, avec humour et sous diverses formes.
