Chorégraphie Florence Caillon
L’idée n’est pas simple de s’emparer d’une pièce mythique du répertoire chorégraphique classique. Florence Caillon commence par triturer la partition de Tchaïkovski pour en dégager les lignes et lui faire endosser les sonorités et accrocs du présent. Puis elle demande à ses cinq circassiens-danseurs de puiser dans la gestuelle animale, donnant lieu à une scène d’ouverture des plus poétiquement cocasses et surprenantes. Avec leurs costumes de tulle reprenant les codes du ballet blanc, les voilà prompts à faire décoller notre imaginaire et à nous faire reconsidérer l’histoire fantasmagorique du cygne à l’aune d’un langage acrobatique, tête en bas et pieds en l’air. Avec juste ce qu’il faut de hip hop et une Danse des petits cygnes décalée, la magie opère et fait entrer Le Lac dans la famille du cirque.
