Le loup mange la chèvre : ainsi le veulent la nature, l’imaginaire collectif et la littérature. Mais si le loup et la chèvre se rencontrent un soir de nuit sans lune et ne se reconnaissent pas mutuellement comme prédateur et comme festin ? Peut-être s’apprivoisent-ils, deviennent-ils amis et peut-être défient-ils la logique implacable qui veut que le monde continue tel qu’il est… Partant de cette idée et de cette possibilité offerte aux enfants de concevoir une autre fin à cette histoire que celle que l’on sert depuis toujours à leur appétit de frayeur, Manuela Capece et David Doro ont travaillé avec des maternelles et des primaires de Parme et réalisé un parcours de laboratoire théâtral pendant l’année scolaire 2005-2006. Pour raconter les aventures de ces deux animaux utopistes, l’espace scénique dessine un triangle avec trois arbres en fer à ses sommets. Du blanc et du noir, du froid et du chaud, de la lumière et de l’obscurité : le contraste règne en maître dans un spectacle où, selon ses concepteurs, « ce que l’on imagine est une conquête ».
