C’est parti de là. D’un jour de courses à Monoprix, d’une femme qui au moment du passage en caisse attire tous les regards, parce que sous le féminin le masculin se laisse voir. L’auteur Emmanuel Darley, qui confie s’intéresser à la marge, à “ceux qui font autrement, pas dans les règles”, a créé à partir de cette rencontre furtive et troublante le personnage de Marie-Pierre qui fut Jean-Pierre, pour dire la différence, le hors normes. “Quelque chose peut-être de la liberté, de la solitude. Du seul contre tous. Invisible, ou au contraire, cible.” Chaque mardi, Marie-Pierre s’occupe de son père : elle fait le ménage, ils parlent, se promènent et font les courses. Patrick Sueur s’est approprié ce texte pudique et singulier et la mise en scène de Paule Groleau évite le rélisme afin de décaler la proposition “dans un univers qui permettra au spectateur de faire son propre voyage imaginaire”. La pièce engage une salutaire réflexion sur le trouble identitaire, les êtres en marge et le regard qu’on leur porte.
