Facétieux, le metteur en scène Godefroy Ségal file la métaphore des montées et des descentes vertigineuses des montagnes russes quand il évoque le Mariage de Barillon, pièce en trois actes de Feydeau, mouvementée à souhait, avec combes encaissées et hauts sommets. Avec dix comédiens et comédiennes, c’est un nombre suffisant pour provoquer quiproquos, embrouilles et dérapages de comédie. D’autant que les thèmes abordés demeurent inaltérables, ainsi les rouages de l’administration, le bien fondé du mariage ou la sauvegarde à tout prix de l’honneur. Mariage à trois ? Vues d’une belle-mère sur son gendre ? Rien de plus banal. Mais que dire quand les choses et les objets se mettent aussi à jouer ? Drôle de fantastique. Les réjouissances commencent avec un mariage où le bonheur semble au rendez-vous quand peu à peu la solennité cède la place aux ardeurs d’un champ de courses ou d’un ring de boxe.
