Meneur du mouvement futuriste, poète, acteur, affichiste, orateur et provocateur, Vladimir Maïakovski (1893-1930) a traversé ce début de vingtième siècle russe survolté comme une comète vite consumée. Il a profondément aimé Lili Brik (grande soeur d’Elsa Triolet), sa compagne majuscule. A l’origine du Nuage en pantalon, écrit en 1915, une rupture amoureuse. Dicté par un coeur plein d’amour et plein de vie, assumant en cela une totale subjectivité dans un style hardi, sonore et incandescent, le poème se compose d’un prologue et de quatre parties : A bas votre amour, A bas votre art, A bas votre ordre, A bas votre religion. La très joliment nommée compagnie nanterrienne Le Rugissement de la libellule plonge dans l’univers de Maïakovski, où “tout est vu et ressenti par l’intermédiaire de ses sens”, et crée un spectacle théâtral et musical ponctué de chansons russes, traversé par le bouillonnement de l’époque et exprimant le lyrisme exacerbé du poème.
