Dans Le Pays de rien, il ne reste rien sinon le roi et sa fille. En quête d’un idéal de pureté, le monarque a chassé tout ce qui vit et perturbe l’espace. Les chants des oiseaux, les couleurs de la nature, les soupirs des hommes ont disparu de l’environnement immédiat de la princesse qui s’ennuie à en mourir. Son père absent, elle ne peut s’empêcher de pousser un cri qui ouvre une brèche vers l’ailleurs d’où surgit un garçon qui va l’aider à s’affranchir. C’est en s’ouvrant à l’autre et au monde qu’on acquiert sa liberté et qu’on se détache de la folie mégalomaniaque des tyrans. Le roi choisit d’abdiquer sous les aspirations légitimes des exclus, ces enfants qui attendent aux frontières closes du royaume. Jules Jorda, Laure Josnin et Jérémy Zylberberg interprètent des personnages tranchés et excessifs, et débusquent la fantaisie et la cocasserie des situations. La relation au père est suivie de la découverte d’une autonomie à l’intérieur du monde. Une jolie leçon de vie.
