« Ce spectacle en deux parties que nous jouons en alternance se conjugue au futur antérieur. A la manière des dystopies ou des uchronies, il présente un futur qui interroge ce qui a conduit à son accomplissement. Du premier humain qui apprend à marcher jusqu’aux effets du progrès sur la nature, on suit des créatures devenues machines, numéros anonymes, esclaves surveillés au sein d’un monde que l’avidité a détruit et qui n’y trouve plus le moindre espace de liberté. Sur scène, un régisseur, quatre comédiens, de vieilles machines et automates et des marionnettes qui interviennent comme des lointaines silhouettes effacées et anonymes. Le spectateur circule autour de l’installation, tel découvrant le palimpseste d’un monde à réécrire.
Utopie poétique et plastique entre avertissement et menace
Ici pas de leçons ! Mais la poétique d’un geste créatif qui questionne les effets d’un capitalisme avide et autoritaire. Moment de partage plutôt que divertissement, nous assistons à un acte sans paroles, que nous avons élaboré avec Laurent Caillon, comme un récit qui procède par images universelles et accessibles. Avec la volonté rénovatrice et innovante de créer un espace théâtral et scénographique performatif, nous parlons de l’état de notre monde, de la catastrophe qui le menace et de la difficulté que nous avons à l’empêcher. »
