SPECTACLE MUSICAL – MUSIQUE CLASSIQUE / Théâtre du Balcon / mes Christian Fromont
Bien connu des mélomanes pour ses fréquents concerts en compagnie de la magnifique violoncelliste Emmanuelle Bertrand, le pianistePascal Amoyel fait partie de cette catégorie rare et à chérir des musiciens classiques « à spectre large ». Instrumentiste de premier plan (son intégrale des Nocturnes de Chopin est une référence), improvisateur, compositeur, homme de radio et directeur de festival, Pascal Amoyel a ajouté encore une corde à son arc (et à son piano) en se faisant homme de spectacle pour donner vie à ce projet. Le pianiste aux 50 doigts est un hommage à celui qui fut son professeur et son mentor, l’immense pianiste hongrois Georges Cziffra (1921-1994), virtuose diabolique et enfant du XXème siècle à « l’incroyable destinée ». « Je me souviendrai toujours de ces rencontres : cet homme, qui avait connu les pires souffrances, paraissait jouer sa vie à travers la musique. Il ne parlait pas beaucoup, mais son regard était parfois bien plus évocateur que tous les mots. Un regard d’écorché vif, profondément humain. Pour lui, la musique était comme le prolongement de l’amour et de la fraternité humaine » se souvient Pascal Amoyel. Du bel ouvrage, du bel hommage.
