Le Poète comme Boxeur, hommage à Kateb Yacine.
Auteur du roman d’amour inclassable Nedjma, poète révolté par la répression qui a suivi le soulèvement du 8 mai 1945 à Sétif, qui fit de nombreuses victimes et après laquelle sa mère sombra dans la folie, Kateb Yacine (1929-1989) traduit dans son oeuvre une difficile et exigeante quête d’identité et de liberté. Il a fondé aussi en 1970 une troupe de théâtre d’expression populaire, L’Action culturelle des Travailleurs. Le metteur en scène Kheireddine Lardjam souhaite mettre en lumière la parole du « visionnaire » et du « révolutionnaire », à travers un montage de textes, dont notamment des interviews regroupées dans le recueil Le Poète comme un boxeur. Sur scène, Larbi Bestam, musicien, et Azeddine Benamara, comédien, créent une forme de théâtre-concert atypique où s’entrelacent le récit et la musique. Dépassant le réalisme, ce théâtre politique et poétique interroge « les conditions et les formes d’une prise de parole mobilisatrice » et expose la vision du monde du poète, protestataire et combative.
