Le Salon mondial du cirque a pour vocation de rassembler tous les professionnels du cirque, quels que soient leurs métiers et leurs façons de voir et de vivre leur art. On n’en voudra pas à Balagan International, société de production organisatrice de l’événement, de mettre en valeur pour cette première édition le cirque russe. En effet, celle-ci connaît le secteur russe et ukrainien notamment à travers ses relations avec le cirque Nikouline de Moscou, dont elle organise les tournées. Celui-ci sera d’ailleurs présent sur le salon à travers un numéro de Hulla-Hoop de Lina Langner et Dmitri Abert, un numéro aérien d’Alexandre Poldi, et un numéro d’équilibre d’Anton et Roman Khaperski. Ce salon a la particularité de laisser une large place aux « numéros », démonstrations impromptues d’artistes venus de Russie, de France, d’Espagne, de Hongrie…, pour ce qui est des artistes confirmés. Les jeunes pousses seront représentées par le travail des écoles de cirque, à travers le dispositif Nouvelles Pistes, de la Fédération Française des Ecoles de Cirque. Une fédération qui livrera une communication sur l’enseignement du cirque, complétée par un état des lieux sur l’enseignement artistique en milieu scolaire organisé par La Villette.
Les Russes et une certaine vision du cirque à l’honneur cette année
Des tables rondes sont également programmées sur des sujets pointus touchant à l’économie du monde du cirque, en partenariat avec des organismes et des institutions incontournables du milieu : ainsi la SACD pour les droits d’auteur, et l’association Hors les Murs pour une rencontre autour de l’itinérance et des chapiteaux. Parallèlement, comme tout salon, une kyrielle de stands, de boutiques spécialisées, d’exposants d’affiches ou de curiosités sur le cirque viendra mettre en foire tout ce beau monde. Parmi les exposants : des compagnies comme le Cirque Baroque, le Cirque Phoenix, le Cirque du Soleil, le Cirque Nikouline, le festival de clowns de Barcelone… Un salon qui débute sur une certaine vision du cirque, et qui permettra, gageons-le, de provoquer la rencontre tous les professionnels, même ceux de demain.
