Expositions, concerts, cinéma, ateliers pédagogiques, danse, tous les arts ou
presque sont au rendez-vous de cette riche programmation. Un parfum de voyage et
de liberté souffle sur Sablé, avec en particulier une intéressante série de
concerts. Le groupe Kaloomé (« Kalo » le noir / le gitan et « omé » la
profondeur de l’âme) ouvre les festivités. Ces jeunes musiciens gitans de
Perpignan revisitent avec invention le répertoire traditionnel mais aussi de
nouvelles compositions sous l’impulsion de son charismatique chanteur et
guitariste Antoine « Tato » Garcia (le 11). Le lendemain, avec Romengo, nous
plongeons dans l’univers musical (dominé par la voix) des Tsiganes Olah de
Hongrie, un peuple qui a su sauvegarder la langue rom et sa musique
traditionnelle. Ici, les chants qui exaltent l’esprit de la fête sont
accompagnés d’ustensiles ménagers, telle la cruche ou les cuillères en bois (le
12) ! À signaler aussi, l’exposition de Gérard Gartner, un travail de
détournement et de réflexion sur les déchets industriels, et une projection du
beau film Swing de Tony Gatlif, réalisé en 2002, sur fond de jazz
manouche.
