C’est un spectacle comme une rencontre à la fois poétique et burlesque. Poétique parce que l’écoute de l’autre y est savamment pensée, burlesque parce que l’humour, les quiproquos et les maladresses feintes y sont une donnée constante. La rencontre ici se noue au fil des rythmes et des respirations, formant une partition insolite de musiques, de bruits et de mouvements. Un petit chapiteau, une piste circulaire de quelques mètres carrés, et cinq habitants : une femme, Camille Decourtye, à la voltige et au chant, un homme, Blaï Mateu Trias, aux portés et à la rythmique, un musicien, Thibaud Soulas, une contrebasse, et le cheval Bonito.
Les corps dansent
Une piste fait le tour extérieur des gradins, et le cheval l’emprunte. Les corps dansent, virevoltent, se répondent, et les mains jouent autant que les pieds. L’une des caractéristiques de la compagnie Baro d’evel, née d’un collectif artistique issu de la promotion 2001 du CNAC, est d’accompagner le savoir faire circassien d’une sonorité musicale et corporelle bien orchestrée. La recherche sonore est en effet partie intégrante du spectacle, mais toujours sans esbroufe, avec simplicité. Un spectacle bien maîtrisé à la croisée de diverses disciplines. De quoi ravir les petits comme les grands.
