Villeneuve en scène / de Molière / mes Pierre Desmaret
C’est en 1664, cinq années avant la version modifiée du Tartuffe, que Molière créa la première mouture de sa pièce. Une mouture en trois actes (la seconde en comporte cinq) qui fut interdite par Louis XIV suite aux pressions exercées par l’Eglise. C’est cette première version que met aujourd’hui en scène Pierre Desmaret à Villeneuve en scène. « Présenter cette œuvre cette année n’est ni fortuit ni anodin, explique le fondateur de la Compagnie Le Fanal. Le Tartuffe pénétrant la Famille d’Orgon réfracte une réalité contemporaine absolument évidente, à savoir la résurgence de valeurs et morales confessionnelles au cœur du débat public. » Poursuivant son chemin d’adaptation aux diverses populations et réalités qu’elle rencontre, la compagnie lyonnaise inscrit sa représentation dans un dispositif scénique multifrontal qui crée proximité et complicité avec le public. Une façon de « faire vivre, saisir et ranimer l’étincelle d’un théâtre citoyen, qui peut renaître entre les interstices de la société du spectacle ».
