Son père est Noir américain, sa mère est Blanche italienne. A l’occasion d’une corvée de lessive partagée avec une voisine dont la machine est en panne, Daisy se voit projetée dans son histoire de femme métissée. Elle voit ressurgir, du fond de son être, un passé qu’elle croyait avoir depuis longtemps oublié. S’inspirant de la vie et des souvenirs de Daisy Miotello, Jean-Marc Chastel et Emmanuel Lenormand ont écrit (et mettent en scène) un spectacle qui cherche à revisiter, avec humour, des moments clefs de l’existence de la comédienne. Ils nous invitent ainsi à nous plonger dans l’univers du métissage, à prendre nos distances avec l’absurdité de certains clichés. Et à nous laisser emporter par la bonne humeur d’une jeune femme qui, en évitant la voie de l’apitoiement, travaille à faire tomber les masques de la peur.
