La Fabrik’Théâtre / d’après Shakespeare / adaptation et mise en scène de Guy Simon
Prospero, dépossédé de son duché milanais par la fourberie de son frère et la complicité du roi de Naples, se fait le metteur en scène d’une leçon de morale destinée à rééduquer les vicieux. Avec l’aide d’Ariel, esprit de l’air, il provoque une tempête qui fait s’échouer le navire de ses bourreaux sur l’île dans laquelle il est relégué avec sa fille Miranda, élevée loin des humains et de leur vilenie. En se faisant maître de la nature et de ses créatures (dont l’ignoble Caliban), Prospero domestique sa propre tempête intérieure et accède au pardon. « La Tempête ouvre grand les portes de l’imaginaire et laisse libre cours à une mise en scène délirante et débridée, à des chassés-croisés burlesques et farfelus ». La pièce révèle l’inventive poésie de l’esthétique du Kronope : « parti-pris du masque, travail des acteurs à la limite du cirque et de la danse, décor fait de courbes fluides et intemporelles », surgi de l’extraordinaire manteau de Prospero, imaginé par Joëlle Richetta. Les enchanteurs du Kronope installent Shakespeare au pays des merveilles.
