Centre d’art et de culture de Meudon / de Jakop Ahlbom
S’inspirant du travail de Buster Keaton, la nouvelle création de Jakop Ahlbom nous transporte dans l’univers loufoque de deux hommes devant s’accommoder de l’étroitesse de leur habitat. Chez eux, tout a plusieurs usages : le lit sert de piano, la bibliothèque de réfrigérateur… Et lorsque la « femme de ménage robot » qu’ils ont fabriquée s’émancipe, se met à penser et agir par elle-même, leur quotidien bascule. « J’essaie de franchir les frontières du réel et de créer un monde de l’inconscient, déclare le créateur d’origine suédoise. Dans mes productions, j’attire les spectateurs dans un univers merveilleux. Je fais appel à leurs émotions, leurs imaginations, leurs rêves, leurs cauchemars, leurs peurs. Leur soi-disant réalité se retrouve bouleversée. » Tentant d’ouvrir et de développer nos horizons, Jakop Ahlbom souhaite nous amener à envisager toute la complexité de l’être humain, nous pousser à « regarder le monde (…) avec un sentiment d’émerveillement ».
