THÉÂTRE DE SAINT-QUENTIN-EN-YVELINES / NOUVELLE PRODUCTION
Le projet est né du désir commun de la compagnie Le Carrosse d’Or et de l’ensemble Ars Nova d’inviter et inciter un public le plus large et jeune possible à découvrir le monde de l’opéra. Entre fable fantastique et récit psychologique, l’action de L’Ebloui est incarnée sur scène par 3 chanteurs marionnettistes. Au fil d’une série de tableaux merveilleux d’où surgissent d’étranges créatures, comme une girafe bleue et un âne à trois têtes, l’ouvrage nous met dans les pas d’un jeune garçon prénommé Horn, né à l’âge de sept ans dans un jardin de neige avec deux trous noirs pour seuls yeux. C’est grâce à sa rencontre avec Aube, la fille du soleil, qu’il parviendra à échapper à l’influence de la bien mal nommée Merveille, sa mère tyrannique… Un opéra initiatique avec Léna Rondé (soprano), Delphine Guévar (mezzo-soprano) et Paul-Alexandre Dubois (baryton) et l’ensemble Ars Nova dirigé par Philippe Nahon.
