MUSIQUE DE CHAMBRE / SALLE CORTOT
On a coutume de dire que les Argentins sont des Italiens qui parlent espagnol. Luthiste, théorbiste et guitariste né à Buenos Aires, Eduardo Egüez a voulu tester l’adage et a imaginé avec son ensemble La Chimera un voyage imaginaire qui traverse les époques et réunit deux traditions musicales emblématiques des deux pays, le madrigal vénitien et le tango porteño. Les figures incontournables du premier, Monteverdi et Cavalli, rencontrent les légendes du second, Piazzolla et Gardel, autour desquelles gravitent d’autres noms tels Frescobaldi, Marenzio, Troïlo ou Borges. Ce chassé-croisé qui unit mélancolie et passion amoureuse, et mêle les harmonies des instruments du continuo baroque avec les rythmes du bandonéon, est porté par un croisement des générations également transatlantique : Luciana Mancini, mezzo chilienne-suédoise, figure de la relève, et Furio Zanasi, baryton italien qui a travaillé avec tous les pionniers baroqueux.
