BAROQUE, MUSIQUE DU MONDE / BASILIQUE
Pour le centième anniversaire de la naissance de Piazzolla, Leonardo García Alarcón, avec son ensemble Cappella Mediterranea, reprend un de ses programmes emblématiques, créé au Festival d’Ambronay en 2009, qui résume toute l’originalité de l’approche inventive du chef argentin dans sa redécouverte du répertoire baroque, et célèbre cette fusion si particulière entre les sangs italiens et hispaniques au cœur même de la cité porteña, Buenos Aires. Cette utopique rencontre entre Monteverdi, l’un des initiateurs du théâtre lyrique au seicento, et Piazzola, l’artisan du renouveau du tango, met en avant l’innovation créatrice de chacun des deux compositeurs, dans une émulation inédite entre instruments d’hier et d’aujourd’hui, entre danse et musique. Certaines partitions ont été transcrites pour le bandonéon de William Sabatier, et le métissage entre les genres et les techniques se retrouve dans les parties chantées, confiées à une soprano classique, Mariana Flores, et un authentique tanguero, Diego Valentin Flores.
