OPÉRA ROYAL DE VERSAILLES / MUSIQUE SACRÉE
Qui dit Salzbourg dit Mozart. On sait qu’elle fut la ville natale de Mozart qui entretint avec elle des rapports houleux sous la férule du prince archevêque Colloredo. On sait moins qu’elle fut aussi celle de Sigismond Neukomm, né 22 ans après Mozart, en 1778. Ce Français d’adoption, élève de Michael et de Joseph Haydn, composa près de 2000 œuvres dont une Résurrection sur le même plan que l’oratorio de Haendel de 1708. Jamais donnée en France, cette partition de 1828 est exhumée aujourd’hui par l’inlassable défricheur de raretés : Leonardo García Alarcón. La première a lieu à l’Opéra de Versailles, déjà tombé sous le charme de Neukomm en 2016 à l’occasion de la reconstitution par Jean-Claude Malgoire de sa Messe de Requiem dédiée à la mémoire de Louis XVI – une commande de Talleyrand pour le Congrès de Vienne de 1815. Dans ce programme figure également l’une des œuvres sacrées les plus populaires de Mozart, la Messe du couronnement. Deux partitions dans lesquelles le chœur de chambre de Namur aura fort à faire.
