Aux Rencontres de la Toussaint, on passe la journée avec Serge Ricci, Corinne Lanselle, Bruce Taylor, Alain Gruttadauria ou Patrice Valéro. Le soir, au tour des spectacles de nourrir le public et les stagiaires. Même si la programmation donne la part belle au travail artistique des professeurs invités, d’autres chorégraphes sont également à découvrir. Cette année, Corinne Lanselle et Alain Gruttadauria, en habitués du lieu, présentent chacun leurs plus récents travaux. La chorégraphe propose une plongée dans son univers pour une soirée composée de deux pièces : Léonce est un duo né d’une collaboration franco-suédoise, tandis que Des Poissons dans les arbres rassemble quatre interprètes en misant sur leurs singularités. Dans une réflexion sur l’identité, Corinne Lanselle continue ici son exploration des rapports humains, jouant sur nos ressemblances et nos différences.
Vendetta Mathea, invitée spéciale
Alain Gruttadauria crée pour les Rencontres Poison, pièce pour trois danseurs. Il se lance dans une démarche volontairement athlétique, où l’architecture du corps se trouve livrée à la vitesse et au challenge. La troisième invitée de ce temps fort de la Toussaint est la chorégraphe Vendetta Mathea. Danseuse au parcours atypique, elle porte en elle tous les fondements de la danse moderne : sa démarche l’a conduite de New-York à Aurillac, de Limon ou Cunningham à la bourrée auvergnate. Elle présente aujourd’hui Homme │ Animal, où elle interroge les fondements de la nature humaine. Campée dans des positions qui reflètent sa propre histoire de danseuse, elle orchestre ici un étrange mélange des genres, aussi bien dans les influences chorégraphiques que dans la musique. Le tout basé sur la virtuosité de ses interprètes qui jouent de l’ambivalence entre humanité et animalité.
