De Falstaff de Verdi à La Tempête de Thomas Adès, de nombreux musiciens ont été inspirés par l’œuvre de Shakespeare. La soprano et metteur en scène Orianne Moretti, directrice de la toute jeune “Correspondances compagnie / Les Arts en partage“, a choisi de s’atteler à Hamlet. Mais plutôt que de faire appel à un compositeur pour mettre en musique cette pièce, elle a préféré orienter sa démarche créative en mêlant le texte à des pages existantes de la littérature musicale. On entendra ainsi des lieder de Schumann, Richard Strauss ou Mahler chantés par Orianne Moretti elle-même et par le baryton-basse Till Fechner, incarnation du couple d’Ophélie et d’Hamlet. A leurs côtés, la pianiste Anastasia Slojneva et le violoncelliste Patrick Langot interprèteront des pièces de musique de chambre, notamment un extrait de la Sonatede Rachmaninov. Décidément pluridisciplinaire, le spectacle fera aussi largement appel à une chorégraphie de Bruno Bouché, danseur de l’Opéra de Paris. Quant au texte, il réunit des extraits de la pièce de Shakespeare et des textes de Brecht, Blok et Rimbaud. Un éclectisme prometteur donnant naissance à une authentique création pluridisciplinaire.
