CINE CONCERT / BOURG-LA-REINE
Le ciné-concert est un nouvel art de la scène en train de se réinventer. Des instrumentistes-improvisateurs et des compositeurs de premier plan s’ouvrent des espaces nouveaux d’expression et d’invention dans le dialogue avec de grands créateurs du 7ème art. Parmi ceux-ci, le pianiste Jacques Cambra – qui a bâti depuis 1997 un incroyable répertoire autour de films de réalisateurs aussi différents que Dreyer, Linder, Renoir, Stroheim, Murnau, Lang, Lubitsch, Ozu ou Keaton – fait figure de pionnier. Pour lui, « chaque film est une partition visuelle, et il se considère comme un interprète en quête d’insuffler un autre relief au film, une manière toute personnelle de le voir et de l’écouter ». Dans ce programme, il réunit sous le titre « Les aventures de Charlot » trois films muets de Charlie Chaplin, se nourrissant à la fois d’un art remarquable du clavier et de l’improvisation mais aussi d’une étude approfondie des films et du contexte de leur réalisation, d’une réflexion sur les intentions du réalisateur et la structure du récit… Pour mieux enfin céder au jeu de l’instant de l’échange direct avec le public. Avec aussi Jean-Carl Feldis, compositeur et bruiteur.
