Bella Figura, signé Jiří Kylián, est une parabole sur la relativité de la sensualité, de la beauté, de l’esthétique en général, et sur la question de savoir comment nous abordons ce phénomène dans notre vie quotidienne. Chez lui, les jeux de rideaux ressemblent à des chausse-trappes, des ellipses qui, plutôt que morceler la vision, instillent une sorte de nostalgie liée à la disparition. Sa gestuelle, toujours à fleur d’émotion, sublime le corps des danseurs, attirant l’œil sur quelque détail fugitif. Les jupes rouges qui virevoltent, les lumières et les flammes qui nimbent les corps, tout concourt à créer des images saisissantes. Aleatorio réunit trois oeuvres (Men’s Dance, Men’s Dance for Women et Presque rien) de Jean-Christophe Maillot, et sait jouer des différents thèmes et voix des Concertos italiens de Bach, interprétés par Alexandre Tharaud, et d’une composition de Bertrand Maillot. La gestuelle est d’une inventivité sans faille. Les hommes dans un registre très contemporain qui conjugue une rapidité virtuose à des amortis inattendus, les femmes tout en étirements et fulgurances. Le dernier tableau, qui réunit les deux sexes, chacun ne cédant rien de son individualité, laisse place à une danse duelle, organique, sensuelle, à travers des portés d’une beauté impressionnante.
