L’aventure des Concerts au coucher de soleil est l’initiative du chef Cyril Diederich qui, après la restauration de la Collégiale Notre-Dame Dalidon d’Oppède le Vieux, a voulu donner, grâce à la musique, une nouvelle vie au patrimoine remarquable de ce site provençal, en goûtant la magie des couleurs de la tombée de la nuit sur ce joyau du Lubéron. Le festival est descendu sur la place du village où depuis 2021 se donne un cycle Mozart avec les opéras de la Trilogie Da Ponte. Après Don Giovanni et Cosi fan tutte, celui-ci se referme sur l’irrésistible vitalité des Noces de Figaro, portée par un plateau de jeunes chanteurs. Ce soutien aux nouveaux talents, au cœur de la politique artistique du festival, se retrouve dans le concert de clôture avec un récital également dirigé par Cyril Diederich, et confié à trois découvertes des derniers concours de chant lyrique. Après une première partie dans la Collégiale, la seconde se déroule sur le parvis, rejoignant une alchimie avec la nature qui fait tout le charme de ce rendez-vous musical à la fin de l’été.
