Du conte, oui, mais un art dépoussiéré de ses clichés, loin de la naïveté d’une pratique que l’on a trop souvent réservée aux seuls enfants. Ici, les artistes invités sont non seulement engagés dans leurs créations, mais portent également une parole qui fait sens sur le monde actuel. Manipulateurs des mots et des maux de notre société, ils sont les héritiers d’une tradition orale qui, aujourd’hui, fait sens à travers la recherche d’une écriture renouvelée et d’une présence scénique singulière. C’est le cas de Pépito Matéo, conteur et comédien à part entière, dont les apparitions s’apparentent à des one-man shows. Sa présence nous saisit littéralement, pour mieux nous asséner ses textes dont la profondeur sonne souvent juste. Inspiré par le quotidien et par ses contemporains, Pépito Matéo signe ici une nouvelle création, opus final d’une trilogie entamée avec Urgence et Parloir. Avec Dernier Rappel, il montre qu’il est urgent de dire, de montrer, parfois aux dépens de lui-même, avec humour. D’un sujet grave comme la vieillesse, la maladie, la mort, il révèle toute l’absurdité, endossant mille et un personnages pour mieux célébrer la vie.
Alain Le Goff, conteur-citoyen, la conscience en éveil
Moins poétique, plus ancré dans le réel et dans le politique, voire l’altermondialisme, Alain Le Goff offre avec Temps de Chien une nouvelle fable d’aujourd’hui. Avec son jeune collègue Achille Grimaud, il se nourrit de personnages tout droit issus du quotidien le plus rude : ainsi, un équarisseur devient la figure centrale du récit, dénonçant au passage les élevages en batterie, la société de consommation, et le chien Socrate, véritable philosophe, tire à bout portant sur tous les travers de notre société. En marge de ces grands formats au Centre Culturel, Les Créations d’Hiver s’intéressent aussi aux petites formes plus intimistes, à travers par exemple le travail de création de deux jeunes conteuses, Sophie Wilhelm et Delphine Noly. La première, pour des récits insolites ou quotidiens, la deuxième sur les rives de l’enfance, à déguster en famille.
