L’Azimut / Chorégraphie Lou Cantor
Lou Cantor, magnifique danseuse spécialiste de la gestuelle baroque par son travail avec la chorégraphe Béatrice Massin, cultive l’art du déplacement. C’est à la Maison d’Arrêt du Val-d’Oise qu’elle a décidé d’ancrer ce projet débuté en 2019, porté par sa compagnie Ulysse & Ernest nouvellement fondée. Là, elle rencontre pendant plusieurs mois des hommes détenus, âgés de 18 à 60 ans. Avec l’autrice Rozenn Le Berre, elle est allée faire leur connaissance, a laissé émerger des souvenirs, des parcours de vie, des témoignages. Des récits qu’elle fait surgir dans des histoires de corps, et des danses qui deviennent une force d’agir et une puissance d’être soi dans un espace chorégraphique préservé. Pour cette aventure, Lou Cantor a pris appui sur une source qui lui est chère : Mozart, pour la force et la joie de vivre contenues dans sa musique, et sa capacité à rassembler et souder le groupe.
