A peine viennent-ils de poser leurs valises après leur dernière longue tournée – qui les a vu sillonner la France mais aussi franchir mers et océans (Ecosse, Canada, etc) – que le guitariste Olivier Kikteff et ses complices repartent pour une nouvelle aventure. Celle d’un album intitulé « 1910 » (chez Cristal Records/Harmonia Mundi), leur quatrième depuis la naissance du groupe en 2003… Cet hommage à Django Reinhardt est bien sûr proposé à l’occasion du centième anniversaire de la naissance en 1910 au grand guitariste. Les Doigts de l’homme marque un retour aux fondamentaux et aux racines de leur art musical manouche qui s’exprime ici de la manière la plus directe, intense et inspirée qui soit. Une belle réussite. Avec Benoit Convert et Yanick Alcocer aux guitares et Tanguy Blum à la contrebasse. La salle de la Dynamo de Pantin, en marge du festival Banlieues Bleues, accueille ce concert de sortie, partagé, en première partie, avec le groupe Fada qui allie slam (Marco Codjia) et jazz (Denis Guivarc’h au saxophone).
