Théâtre de Rungis / Chor. Gilles Verièpe
Ils se sont connus à l’occasion de l’édition 2016 du joli festival Concordan(s)e, qui unit le temps d’un spectacle écrivain.e.s et chorégraphes. Ensemble, mêlant leurs arts, Gilles Verièpe et Ingrid Thobois ont créé L’architecture du hasard, pièce tendre et drôle dans laquelle chacun conte l’itinéraire de l’autre, dessinant les chemins qui mènent à la rencontre. Emballés par cette expérience, ils reviennent avec un nouvel opus à quatre mains intitulé Les éternels, dans lequel deux comédiens (dont Gilles Verièpe) partagent la scène avec quatre danseurs. Approfondissant leur recherche commune sur le rapport entre texte et mouvement, ils nous plongent dans un avenir où le transhumanisme est en passe de vaincre la mort. « Nous sommes à la veille de l’implantation, sur deux cobayes désignés, du tout premier prototype de cerveau entièrement artificiel. Le risque encouru est important et ils le savent : celui de perdre la mémoire et la totalité des souvenirs qui constituent l’ossature de l’existence. » Ils questionnent ainsi le devenir de l’humain à l’aune des progrès de la médecine et des technologies.
