Comment les enfants vivent-ils la guerre ? Comment se forgent et résistent des vies prises très tôt dans des conflits armés ? Dans sa nouvelle création, Flavia Lorenzi embrasse un siècle de guerres, de 1918 à aujourd’hui : les deux guerres mondiales, le Vietnam, Sarajevo, Irak… A travers le témoignage d’enfants, notamment Paroles d’enfants dans la guerre de Zlata Filipovic et Mélanie Chalenger, et Derniers témoins de Svetlana Alexievitch, la metteuse en scène se demande « comment parler de la guerre, d’une guerre qu’on n’a pas vécue ? Comment incarner ces récits et faire du théâtre à partir de cette matière ? » C’est tout l’enjeu de ce spectacle polyphonique où un quatuor d’acteurs recrée une sorte de mémoire émotionnelle. Accessible dès 14 ans, il ambitionne de « toucher plus spécifiquement un public jeune, dont le regard et les réflexions sur le monde d’aujourd’hui sont encore en formation ». Pour dépasser les images violentes ou les discours abstraits qui sont souvent de mise dans notre société.
