Théâtre 95 / de Molière / mes Christophe Thiry
Une galère turque, un sac à bastonnade, des vieux barbons pingres et idiots, une jeunesse amoureuse et insolente, et au milieu « un habile ouvrier de ressorts et d’intrigues », le fieffé Scapin, maître ès manigances, amateur de situations perdues que son art à emmêler et démêler les situations rend odieux aux imbéciles infatués et précieux et aux sincères trop candides. Christophe Thiry propose une vision nouvelle et authentique de l’œuvre et du rôle de Scapin, et entraîne le spectateur dans un univers imaginaire et créatif dépaysant. « Hors des sentiers battus, du théâtre de farce, la pièce en est tout aussi drôle et se révèle corrosive, poignante. Sans effet tape-à-l’œil modernisant et dans une esthétique soignée de tableaux du XVIIe siècle, Molière devient notre contemporain », en un théâtre « direct et franc, qui se joue des hommes avec la frénésie de l’homme ».
