Proposée par Frédérique Gerbelle et Jean-Pierre Le Pavec (par ailleurs directeur du Festival de Saint-Denis), la série « Les Grandes Voix » qui vient de fêter son quinzième anniversaire se décline cette saison en douze rendez-vous prestigieux partagés entre le Théâtre des Champs-Elysées et la Salle Pleyel. De véritables légendes vivantes vont se succéder, de Juan Diego Florez à Jessye Norman et de Natalie Dessay à Roberto Alagna. Mais pour l’heure, ce sont la soprano Karina Gauvin et la mezzo italienne Daniela Bercellona (en remplacement de Marie-Nicole Lemieux, enceinte) qui ouvrent le bal, associées à l’ensemble Accademia Bizantina d’Ottavio Dantone dans le poignant et génial Stabat Mater de Pergolese (le 26/09). Début octobre à la Salle Pleyel, le ténor Juan Diego Florez, nouvel homme fort du bel canto, excellera dans Rossini, Donizetti et Bellini, accompagné au piano par Vincenzo Scalera (le 8/10).
