C’est tout en fête que l’Académie Fratellini se prépare à accueillir le nouveau projet mis en place par Antoine Manceau. Après un temps de latence dans la structure, l’idée semble être de remettre en place les choses, sous le signe de la diversité et du foisonnement : « Inaugurée en 2003, l’Académie n’a jusqu’à aujourd’hui jamais été au bout de son potentiel et du cahier des charges proposé par les tutelles. C’est un constat que nous partageons tous. Nous réorganisons totalement nos missions par rapport au territoire et à ses publics pour en faire une véritable structure de cirque, connecté à l’ensemble du spectacle vivant, au-delà d’un lieu de diffusion, de recherche et de création », précise le nouveau directeur. Le pôle pédagogique reste le ciment du projet, avec un objectif d’une quarantaine d’apprentis à l’aune de 2010. Au cœur de l’apprentissage, la présence des artistes : les compagnies accueillies en résidence bénéficient à la fois d’un soutien en coproduction, d’une diffusion, et sont amenées à partager leurs démarches et leurs techniques auprès des élèves.
Un lieu partagé par les apprentis, les artistes et les amateurs
Antoine Bigot et Agathe Olivier, des Colporteurs, proposeront sur ce mode leur création Sur la route en octobre, et jalonneront leur présence de stages autour de leur spécialité : le fil de fer. La vraie nouveauté du projet réside dans la volonté affirmée d’ancrer le paquebot Fratellini dans une relation plus franche et sereine avec son territoire. Ses trois lieux phares, L’Etoile (Altaïr), le Cabaret et la Halle trônent littéralement en Seine-Saint-Denis (Plaine Commune). Pour en finir avec ce sentiment, c’est sans doute par le biais des pratiques amateurs que devrait, dans un premier temps, se réaffirmer l’idée d’un lieu accessible à tous. Pour Antoine Manceau, « le point d’ancrage de cette action d’accessibilité, c’est la réactivation de l’école amateur Fratellini. Au-delà d’un programme départemental très vaste touchant des publics très divers, la structure rouvre toute la semaine pour l’entraînement libre ». Les Impromptus, avec les Colporteurs, la compagnie XY, Les Objets Volants ou la compagnie Moglice von Verx sauront, entre autres, nous faire pousser la porte d’une Académie en pleine réinvention.
